ACCOUNTING TO THE PEOPLE: HON WISDOM CUDJOE ENGAGES CONSTITUENTS


Hon. Wisdom Cudjoe, Member of Parliament for the Prestea Huni Valley Constituency, orchestrated a comprehensive Annual Stakeholders Meeting at Aboso Town Hall on Friday, 29th December under the theme "Accounting To The People." This gathering included representatives from Nananom at Aboso and its environs, the Pensioner's Association at Aboso, and other vital stakeholders.

The focal point of the meeting was to provide a transparent account of the allocation and utilization of the common fund, constituting 5% of the total revenue from the central government directed to the district assembly. Hon. Wisdom Cudjoe meticulously detailed how these funds directly benefit the local community, aligning with the theme of accountability. During the session, Hon. Wisdom Cudjoe presented a comprehensive overview of his accomplishments for the community during his tenure as MP. Specific projects and initiatives were highlighted, showcasing the positive impact on the residents of Aboso. Notably, the construction of a 3-unit classroom block for the Islamic school exemplifies his commitment to improving educational facilities within the constituency.

Preceding the stakeholders' meeting, Hon. Robert Wisdom Cudjoe inaugurated the "Accounting To The People" initiative. This event served as a platform for the MP to showcase his recent endeavors. Key highlights included the commissioning of the Aboso Rehabilitated Meat Shop, providing a 50Hz - Diesel Generator for the Aboso Health Centre, completing the Bridge project, and distributing over 150 Bags of Cement for infrastructural development. The "Accounting To The People" initiative emphasized Hon. Wisdom Cudjoe's commitment to financial transparency and accountability in his service to the community. It underscored the tangible impact of his work, as evidenced by the commissioning of crucial infrastructure and the provision of essential resources.

Hon. Robert Wisdom Cudjoe Joins Eliho/Touton to Commission Classroom Block

The rudiments of every successful nation is Education, which serves as the conduit under which the fate of future leaders is guaranteed. The Member of Parliament for Prestea Huni-Valley Constituency, Hon. Robert Wisdom Cudjoe on Wednesday 11th January, 2023 joined Eliho/Touton Company during the commissioning of  a 3-unit classroom block at Pewodie, a community in the Himan-Prestea electoral area. In attendance were  the Chief of Pewodie and Nananom of Himan-Prestea Traditional Council. The project has been furnished with about 90 desks and white marker boards through the sponsorship of Eliho/Touton Company.
