HIMAN-PRESTEA DESERVES FAIR TREATMENT

Through their communication, Initiative for Development and Accountability System (IDEAS), a Civil Society Organization based in Himan, has expressed their displeasure with the current events in the community, particularly with the good people who live there.
In a communique that was signed by Mr. Gideon Koomson, the group's secretary, a number of reasons were given that must be addressed immediately. He said that the community and its surroundings haven't had access to important information, which has affected how they live their lives.

He added that the low shedding that has occurred over the past two weeks has had a negative impact on a lot of businesses, particularly those that rely on electricity. An unannounced stop has been made to a bridge that was being built to connect Ankobra and Himan. Because so many people in the community are concerned, Mr. Gideon Koomson asserts that this circumstance is extremely alarming. As a result, the group appeals to the relevant stakeholders to intervene in order to improve the situation. Find appended the communique gave by the group.
