Hon. Barbara Oteng Gyasi Has No Moral Right To Blame Hon. Wisdom Cudjoe For Her Failure

 


After three years in opposition, the former Prestea Huni-Valley Constituency MP, Mrs. Barber Oteng Gyasi has taken a swipe at the current MP who beat her astronomically during the 2020 general elections by 17,000 votes. A record in the history of the Constituency , Hon. Wisdom Cudjoe for paying an idle eye to some projects she left for him.

This statement was made during the commissioning of volleyball court at Aboso.

To set the record straight, the Prestea township roads which is no exception of Cocoa roads was brought to a halt for investigation in 2017. Since then, the Prestea town roads have never find its tandem towards completion. It is on record that the construction agency responsible for the Prestea township roads, Asabea Construction and Engineering Limited have never received a dim for the little they did even at time as MP but subtly blames the current MP for her failure.

The former MP also left Prestea - Bogoso road, and Nsusaeden road unattended to but take U-turn to blame Hon. Wisdom Cudjoe for not sanctioning these roads construction.

It is a fact that these projects are government sponsored projects and under no circumstance will any MP construct them with their pocket money. It can be recalled that Hon. Wisdom Cudjoe in his first term stood on the floor of Parliament to the question Hon. Road Minister, Kwasi Amoako Atta about the delay in completing the aforementioned roads.

Therefore, if Hon. Barbara Oteng Gyasi has any blame to make, it should be directed to the ruling government led by Nana Akuffo - Addo & Bawumiah.

Also the former MP should be bold enough to tell the public that all these projects are halted because of the worst leadership displayed by her government in the history of Ghana and leave the working MP alone. 

As it is entitlement for every MP to bring development to their constituents with their common funds, the honourable MP has touched on the following projects as a measure to curtail some existing problems in the constituency;

1. Ongoing pavement Works at  prestea main station

2. Ongoing krotown market

3. Ongoing adom ho wim box culvert

4.Asumpa water project 

5. Contribution to the completion of Prestea children's ward

6.Donation of polypipe to nakaba community to supply water across the community

7. Donation of streetlight at himan

8. Ongoing Prestea Nsuta Chip compounds

9. Ongoing 3 unit class room block at Aboso Nsuaem

10.Ongoing community center at Aboso Acheise

11.  Construction of  Kronteng mean station culvert 

12. Construction of toilet and bathroom at prestea fire service

13. Ongoing class room block at Peter Nkwanta

At this moment, Hon. Wisdom Cudjoe is focused on  working assiduously to ameliorate the plights of his people and not just mere mischiefs by the opposition MP.

Hon. Robert Wisdom Cudjoe Joins Eliho/Touton to Commission Classroom Block

The rudiments of every successful nation is Education, which serves as the conduit under which the fate of future leaders is guaranteed. The Member of Parliament for Prestea Huni-Valley Constituency, Hon. Robert Wisdom Cudjoe on Wednesday 11th January, 2023 joined Eliho/Touton Company during the commissioning of  a 3-unit classroom block at Pewodie, a community in the Himan-Prestea electoral area. In attendance were  the Chief of Pewodie and Nananom of Himan-Prestea Traditional Council. The project has been furnished with about 90 desks and white marker boards through the sponsorship of Eliho/Touton Company.
