Hon. Robert Wisdom Cudjoe Joins Eliho/Touton to Commission Classroom Block

The rudiments of every successful nation is Education, which serves as the conduit under which the fate of future leaders is guaranteed. The Member of Parliament for Prestea Huni-Valley Constituency, Hon. Robert Wisdom Cudjoe on Wednesday 11th January, 2023 joined Eliho/Touton Company during the commissioning of  a 3-unit classroom block at Pewodie, a community in the Himan-Prestea electoral area. In attendance were  the Chief of Pewodie and Nananom of Himan-Prestea Traditional Council. The project has been furnished with about 90 desks and white marker boards through the sponsorship of Eliho/Touton Company. In his speech, Hon Robert Wisdom Cudjoe applauded the team and urged them to provide more as part of their CSR. “Just like Oliver Twist we certainly ask for more” he added. He also reminded the students, teachers, and the entire community that the purpose of the facility is to boost quality education and effective learning and breed more graduates in the community. He therefore, urged  the community folks and the chief to practice culture of maintenance to sustain the building. In addition, He also promised to assist to furnish the incomplete classroom block established by the Assembly man, Hon Alex Baako. He added that, he will do everything in his capacity as the MP for the constituency to increase the education level of pewodie and provide the necessary logistics to harness quality education.

The prestea astro turf which sparked mixed of reactions over the years was inspected by the honourable MP to see its progress. He then met with the contractor to see the arrangements to expedite their work towards completion. The MP also took the opportunity to hand over a canoe to both Old and New Juabeng, this was in accordance with the people's need. During the presentation, inhabitants of old and new Juabeng appreciation were never hidden. It was made known that, this canoe will ameliorate the problem of transportation amongst the two communities. The transportation of agricultural products will also be taken care of by this canoe, they added.

On the same day, Himan ward secretary, Mr. Abraham Amoo (Magasty) and his entourage on behalf of the honourable MP presented a Solo Mist Blow Machine to the people of Aduanekyensika, a suburb of Himan to boost agricultural production.
